Mark J. Yanke, CPO, CPed
Mark J. Yanke is certified by the American Board for Certification (ABC) in Prosthetics and Orthotics, and a BCP certified pedorthist. He is the founder and President of Yanke Bionics, Inc. His experience in the field began with his father, who was trained in the Army during his four-year enlistment in World War II. In 1969, Mr. Yanke entered an internship at Rancho Los Amigos Hospital located in Downey, CA. After three years there, he transferred to Northwestern University, accepting an academic appointment as an instructor of Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Pedorthics in the department of Orthopedic surgery.
In 1975, he returned to Ohio and formed Yanke Bionics, Inc. in Akron, Ohio. Mark Yanke achieved his goal of forming a service-based company, consisting of a team of experts equipped with the most current technology. Thirty years later, Yanke Bionics has become one of the largest and most respected Prosthetic, Orthotic, and Pedorthic facilities in the country. Mr. Yanke is commited to developing and implementing new designs and continues to train the clinical staff at Yanke Bionics.

Dave Reed, CPO, CPed
Dave Reed is certified by the American Board for Certification (ABC) in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics. He earned his certification from the Northwestern University Prosthetics-Orthotics Center (NUPOC) and has over thirty years of experience in the field. He is well versed in a wide variety of diagnoses and treatments including cranial molding helmets and scoliosis management. Mr. Reed has continuing education training for Otto Bock C-legs, upper extremity myoelectrics, the Otto Bock Harmony System, stance control KAFO’s, the Providence scoliosis system, Charleston Bending Brace, the Endoflex System, and Cad-Cam Prosthetics. He has also completed training in the newly introduced Helix3D Hip Joint System launched by Otto Bock in July of 2008.

Kevin Montini, CPO
Kevin Montini is certified by the American Board for Certification (ABC) in Orthotics and Prosthetics. After obtaining his Bachelor of Science Degree in Allied Health from The Ohio State University, he went on to further his education at the Northwestern University Prosthetics-Orthotics Center (NUPOC ). He specializes in lower limb orthotics, spinal orthotics, and is trained in utilizing the Biosculptor CAD-CAM technology to fabricate prosthetic sockets. His continuing education includes certification from Otto Bock for the prosthetic micro-processor C-leg , upper extremity myoelectrics, dynamic Prosthetic feet, Becker Stance-control Knee Ankle Foot Orthoses, the Boston Scoliosis Brace, and Cascade DAFO. Mr. Montini is also a guest lecturer at Northwestern University where he speaks to orthotic students on spinal HALO applications.

Roger Marzano, CPO, CPed
Roger Marzano is certified by the American Board for Certification (ABC) in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics. He has been with Yanke Bionics for over thirty years and serves as Vice President of Clinical Services, Marketing and Sales. Roger is a graduate of the University of Akron and Northwestern University's Prosthetics and Orthotics Program (NUPOC). Roger is a Past President of the Pedorthic Footcare Association (PFA) and has lectured extensively in both national and international settings. Roger specializes in managing those with lower extremity disorders, particularly involving post-polio syndrome, Charcot-Marie Tooth disease, and other neuromuscular disorders involving the lower extremity. Mr. Marzano also has significant experience in managing those with diabetes, arthritis and the disorders associated.

Greg Lalli, CPO, CPed
Greg Lalli is certified by the American Board for Certifcation (ABC) in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics. He specializes in management of foot and ankle disorders, and is trained to fit Cascade DAFO’s, Townsend and Don Joy knee orthoses, the Camp SWASH hip orthosis, as well as the latest functional electonic stimulation orthosis from WalkAide . Greg also specializes in cranial molding helmets.

Mark D. Clary, CPO, FAAOP
Mark Clary is board certified by the American Board for Certification (ABC) in Prosthetics & Orthotics. He completed his undergraduate degree at Xavier University before attending the Northwestern University Prosthetics-Orthotics Center (NUPOC) in 1998 for his orthotic training. His Orthotic Residency was done at the University of Michigan Orthotics & Prosthetics Center (UMOPC), where he then practiced for eight years. He returned for his Prosthetic education in 2009 through the Eastern Michigan University O&P Master's Program and fulfilled his residency in Northern California at a private practice affiliated with the Stanford University Orthopedics Department.
Mr. Clary has been a member of the American Academy of Orthotics & Prosthetics (AAOP) since 1998 and recently received the designation Fellow of the Academy (FAAOP) for his service to the profession. He is director of the Residency Program at Yanke Bionics, Inc. and serves on committees for the National Commission of Orthotic & Prosthetic Education (NCOPE). His interests include acute and post-operative orthotic and prosthetic care, pediatrics, and rehabilitation management of neurological conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury.

Gene Yeager, CP
Gene Yeager is certified by the American Board of Certification (ABC) for Prosthetics and has over twenty one years of experience. He specializes in upper extremity prosthetics and silicone hand restorations. He is fully certified to fit C-legs and the new Utah 3 elbow as well as the Otto Bock DynamicArm. Mr. Yeager is also certified to fit the state of the art i-Limb Hand. Mr. Yeager attends a wound clinic at Akron General Medical Center with local physicians and nurses.

Kevin Spicer, CP
Kevin Spicer is certified by the American Board for Certification (ABC) in Prosthetics. He graduated from Wright State University with a degree in Biomedical Engineering, which makes him well-suited to oversee our Cad-Cam operations. He specializes in lower and upper extremity prostheses. His continuing education includes the C-leg and Myobock certification from Otto Bock, as well as Utah 3 upper extremity training. He attends the amputee clinic at the Edwin Shaw Hospital for Rehabilitation with Dr. Kennard C. Ford, MD.

Gabriel Gullia, CP
Gabriel Gullia is board certified by the American Board for Certification (ABC) in Prosthetics and has been with Yanke Bionics for fifteen years. During that time he received a Bachelors of Science degree in Sports and Exercise Science from the University of Akron. Mr. Gullia completed his Prosthetic education at the Northwestern University Prosthetics-Orthotics Center (NUPOC ) and fulfilled his residency requirements with Yanke Bionics, Inc. He is currently working on his Orthotic certification with NUPOC as well. Mr. Gullia has been an amputee since the age of five and uses this first hand knowledge and experience to provide a unique relationship with his patients while providing exceptional care. He serves as a peer counselor for those dealing with limb loss.

Ken Brown, CO, CPed
Ken Brown is certified by the American Board for Certification (ABC) in Orthotics and Pedorthics. He specializes in lower extremity orthotics including the Becker Orthopedics E-Knee. Mr. Brown has been working in the field for over fifteen years and specializes in acute care orthotic management and in-patient rehabilitation. His orthotic expertise makes him well-suited to manage care for our hospitalized patients.

Jack Swan, CP
Jack Swan is certified by the American Board for Certification (ABC) in Prosthetics. Mr. Swan has over twenty-eight years of experience in the field and specializes in lower limb prosthetics. His continuing education includes certifications for the prosthetic Otto Bock micro-processor C-leg, Otto Bock VASS Harmony , Ossur micro-processor Rheo , and Ossur Proprio Foot . He attends the Genesis Wound Center in Zanesville, Ohio and his geographical area of practice includes Columbus to Cambridge, Ohio. Mr. Swan works closely with Podiatrists, Vascular Surgeons, Orthopedic Surgeons and other health care professionals while spending significant time in the hospital setting, nursing homes and making home visits.

Fred Dietz, CO
Fred Dietz is an ABC certified orthotist with 28 years experience in the industry. Mr. Deitz is certified in stance control orthotics along with several other specific devices. He specializes in post polio orthotic management and lower extremity orthoses.

Noi Phavixay, Orthotic Fitter/Assistant
Noi Phavixay is certified by the American Board for Certification (ABC) as an Orthotic Assistant and Orthotic Technician. He works with patients out of our Parma and Warrensville Heights locations. Mr. Phavixay has fifteen years of experience fitting patients with foot and ankle problems and has developed a solid relationship with many physicians in the region. He also has extensive knowledge in the fabrication process of foot and ankle foot orthoses, which makes him an outstanding clinical assistant in this area of orthotic management.

Rick Frick, Orthotic Fitter/Assistant
Rick Frick has been with Yanke Bionics for 10 years. He works closely with Greg Lalli in the orthotic care of our patients at our Main location in Akron.
Stacey R. Summerfield, Resident Prosthetist
Stacey Summerfield is a resident Prosthetist at Yanke Bionics, Inc., having completed her certification training at the Northwestern University Prosthetics-Orthotics Center (NUPOC) in March of 2011. Prior to attending NUPOC, Stacey obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Material Science and Engineering from The Ohio State University in 2010. She is currently completing her Orthotic certification from NUPOC as well. Stacey is very passionate about Prosthetics & Orthotics and became interested in Prosthetics at a young age, as her grandfather has a transtibial amputation secondary to a traumatic event that occurred over fifty years ago.
