Mark J. Yanke, CPO, CPed
Mark J. Yanke is an ABC certified practitioner in prosthetics and orthotics, and a BCP certified pedorthist. He is the founder and President of Yanke Bionics, Inc. His experience in the field began with his father, who was trained in the Army during his four-year enlistment in World War II. In 1969, Mr. Yanke entered an internship at Rancho Los Amigos Hospital located in Downey, CA. After three years there, he transferred to Northwestern University, accepting an academic appointment as an instructor of Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Pedorthics in the department of Orthopedic surgery.
In 1975, he returned to Ohio and formed Yanke Bionics, Inc. in Akron, OH. Mark Yanke achieved his goal of forming a service-based company, consisting of a team of experts equipped with the most current technology. Thirty years later, Yanke Bionics has become one of the largest and most respected Prosthetic, Orthotic, and Pedorthic facilities in the country. Mr. Yanke is commited to developing and implementing new designs and continues to train the clinical staff at Yanke Bionics.

Dave Reed, CPO, CPed
Dave Reed is an ABC prosthetist, orthotist, and pedorthist who earned his degree from Northwestern University and has 25 years of experience. He is well versed in all diagnoses and treatments including cranial molding helmets and scoliosis management. Mr. Reed has continuing education training for Otto Bock C-legs and myoelectrics, Otto Bock Harmony system , stance control KAFO’s, Providence scoliosis system, Charleston bending brace, the endoflex system, and cad-cam prosthetics. He has also completed training in the newly introduced Helix3D Hip Joint System launched by Otto Bock July '08.

Kevin Montini, CPO
Kevin Montini is an ABC certified prosthetist and orthotist who holds a bachelor’s degree in allied health from Ohio State University. He then went on to further his education at Northwestern University where he earned his certificate in Prosthetics and Orthotics. He specializes in lower limb and spinal orthotics, and enjoys using Biosculptor to fabricate prosthetic sockets for his patient’s with amputations. His continuing education includes certification from Otto Bock for the C-leg , myoelectrics, and prosthetic feet, Becker stance control orthoses, Boston Scoliosis , and Cascade DAFO . Mr. Montini is also a guest lecturer at Northwestern University where he speaks to orthotic students on HALO applications.

Roger Marzano, CPO, CPed
Roger Marzano is an ABC certified prosthetist, orthotist , and pedorthist. He enjoys sports medicine and post polio orthotic management and has 26 years of experience in lower extremity orthotic, prosthetic, and pedorthic treatment. He utilizes his expertise in these areas to lecture nationally and internationally to the medical community.

Gene Yeager, CP
Gene Yeager is an ABC and BOC certified prosthetist with 21 years of experience who specializes in upper extremity prosthetics and silicone hand restorations. He is fully certified to fit C-legs and the new Utah 3 elbow as well as the Otto Bock DynamicArm. Mr. Yeager is also certified to fit the state of the art i-Limb Hand. Mr. Yeager also attends a wound clinic at Akron General Hospital with local physicians and nurses.

Kevin Spicer, CP
Kevin Spicer is an ABC certified prosthetist and orthotist . Mr. Spicer is a graduate from Wright State University with a biomedical engineering degree which makes him well-suited to oversee our cad-cam operations. He specializes in upper and lower extremity prostheses. His continuing education includes C-leg and myobock certification from Otto Bock, and Utah 3 upper extremity training. He also attends an amputee clinic at Edwin Shaw with Dr. Ford.

Ken Brown, CO, CPed
Ken Brown is an ABC certified orthotist and pedorthist who specializes in lower extremity orthotics including the E-knee by Becker Ortho . Mr. Brown has been working in the field for 13 years. His orthotic expertise makes him well-suited to manage care for our hospitalized patients.

Rob Guidos, CPO
Rob Guidos is an ABC certified prosthetist and orthotist with 16 years of experience in orthotic and prosthetic field. He is certified to fit C-legs and Cascade DAFO's.

Greg Lalli, CPO, CPed
Greg Lalli is an ABC certified prosthetist, orthotist, and pedorthist. He specializes in management of foot and ankle disorders and is trained to fit Cascade DAFO’s, Townsend and Don Joy knee bracing, and Camp SWASH devices.

Steve Simko, CO
Steve Simko is an ABC certified orthotist with 40 years experience in the orthotic industry. He has extensive training on various devices and recently attended a national seminar on Diabetic Foot and Ankle Management in Chicago. His years of experience and passion for the field are evident in his patient care.

Fred Dietz, CO
Fred Dietz is an ABC certified orthotist with 28 years experience in the industry. Mr. Deitz is certified in stance control orthotics along with several other specific devices. He specializes in post polio orthotic management and lower extremity orthoses.

Gabriel Gullia, Prosthetic Resident
Gabriel Gullia has been with Yanke Bionics for 10 years. During that time he received a bachelors degree in Sports and Exercise Science from the University of Akron. Mr. Gullia has gone on to continue his education at Northwestern University where he graduated from their Prosthetic program. Currently he is doing his residency to become a practitioner. Mr. Gullia has been an amputee since the age of 5 and uses this first hand knowledge to relate to his patients and better their care.

Noi Phavixay, Orthotic Fitter/Assistant
Noi Phavixay is an orthotic assistant who works with Dave Reed in our Wooster office and Kevin Montini in our Parma location. Mr. Phavixay has 13 years of experience fitting patients with foot and ankle problems. He has extensive knowledge in the fabrication process of foot and ankle foot orthoses, which makes him an excellent asstant for foot and ankle problems.
